Listing your business on Reserve with Google makes it easy for people to find you on Google and offer convenient online scheduling. This feature not only allows your business to appear in the search results and Google maps but also adds a ‘Book Now’ button to your Google business card and allows your customers to instantly reserve a time to avail your services.

To get listed on Reserve with Google, you need to have an account with one of Google’s official scheduling partners (like Appointy).

Currently, Reserve with Google is not supported for all business verticals and services and does not exist in all geographies. Read this blog to check if you are eligible to get listed on Reserve with Google.

Getting listed on Reserve with Google

You can get your business listed on Reserve with Google using Appointy by following these three simple steps.

Log into your Appointy admin account.
Go to the ‘My Space’ area and click on the ‘Marketplace’ icon in the toolbar appearing on the left.

How To Block Out Days/Hours in the Schedule?

In Appointy, each of your staff member can have a defined schedule, and therefore you have the option to block out days/timeslots from a staff’s availability. Here’s to add an unavailability for a staff.

There are two easy ways that you can block dates and times.

Option 1:

Once logged in into your Appointy account, click on the ‘calendar’ icon in the left tab. On the WEEK or STAFF view of the calendar, you can click on the blocking icon in the top row to block the dates straightaway.

NOTE : If you have multiple staff members listed in your account, blocking a date from the WEEK view of the calendar will block out the particular date for all the staff members. To block dates/times for a particular staff member, we would advise blocking the date for them from the STAFF tab in the calendar view, or as shown in the options 2 below.

Option 2 :

Once logged in into your Appointy admin panel, click on the ‘gear’ icon in the left tab to go to Settings. Then, click on the staff member to reveal the staff properties and go to the ‘BLOCK TIME’ tab.

On this window, Click on “BLOCK MORE” button to add the dates or time slots that are to be blocked.

How to connect Appointy Calendar to your Facebook Page?

Facebook is a hugely popular social media platform and one of the most important tools to promote a business in today’s times. It is easy to use and reaches a diverse audience from all over the world. Appointy has a Facebook integration feature to make things easier for your business. All you have to do is link your Facebook page with your Appointy account and this will enable your customers to directly book an appointment with you from your Facebook page.

It is an easy process and numerous businesses have seen a boost in their growth since they started using this feature.

To integrate your Appointy account with Facebook please follow the below mentioned steps.

Create a Facebook page.
Towards the right side of your business name, you’ll find the option ‘Add Action Button’

When you click on ‘+Add Action Button’, a new Edit Page Button window will pop up.
From the list of options available on the Edit Page button, click on Book Now.

In the ‘Book Now’ pop up, you’ll find two options:
- Appointments on Facebook
- Connect Another Tool.

How to integrate with your Google or Outlook Calendar?

We offer two-way sync with Google and Outlook (Office 365) calendars on our paid plans, that allow events on your Google/Outlook Calendar to block out time on your Appointy schedule as unavailable and appointments on Appointy to appear as events on Google/ Outlook calendar.

In order to set this up, Go to the Appointy Marketplace:

Under Calendars ➜ Click on Google or Outlook Calendar ➜ Click on Connect ➜ Select or sign in into your Google or Office 365 Account ➜ Select a Calendar that you want to sync with Appointy ➜ ${color}[#f31b1b](Click on Update, and make sure the sync option is set to "BOTH WAYS")

Note: 2-way sync with Outlook (Office 365) is only available in Professional and above plans

The following countries are currently supported by Reserve with Google:

United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, France, Singapore, Germany, Italy, India, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Japan, Spain, and the Netherlands.

If you don’t see your country listed above, here’s a list of countries where Reserve with Google is set to launch shortly:

Russia, Vietnam, Philippines, Pakistan, Poland, Malaysia, South Korea, Myanmar, Taiwan, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, and Denmark.

How Add A Service's Availability?

Just added a service? Awesome! Here’s how to make that service active and make it bookable for clients by assigning it to staff members, in your Appointy admin panel.

A service can be activated by assigning it one or several staff members by updating its schedule / available times serviced by various staff members. Here are the steps on how to do that from the ‘Services’ section under settings:

Once logged in into your Appointy admin panel, click on the ‘gear’ icon in the left tab to go to Settings. Then, go to the ‘SERVICES’ section and click on a Service to reveal the Service properties and go to the ‘SCHEDULE’ tab.

On this window, you will see all the staff members that have been added. You have the option to add a regular and irregular service schedule for a particular or various staff members, for this service. Click on ‘+’ symbol on the day slots for any of the staff members you’d like to assign the service to.

From here on, you can follow the same process as you would for updating regular Business Hours.
