How to enable OpenID in my wordpress powered site?

Appointy support OpenID login. OpenID allows your visitors to schedule on your Appointy calendar using credentials of your own website.

  1. The first step would be to make your wordpress site OpenID provider. Please install wordpress plugin - "OpenID"  from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/openid/ and activate it. This plugin requires another plugin - "XRDS-Simple" which can be installed from here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xrds-simple/
  2. Once installed, you will see a new option in "Users" menu called "Your Trusted Sites". Click on "Your Trusted Sites". In "Add Sites" enter your complete URL of Appointy. E.g http://demo.appointy.com/ (replace demo with your username at appointy)
  3. Send your blog URL to contact@appointy.com and we will setup OpenID in your account. We will email you once setup.
  4. After setup, you will need to change the IFrame src to http://{yourusername}.appointy.com?isGadget=1&domain=1. To do this, go to wordpress admin area and click on "Appointy Settings". On the right hand side, in the text area change the "src" of the IFrame code.

PS: Also, for the first time, it will ask permission from your visitor to allow login. It will be asked only once and then your customer can login with a single click.

Note: This is a premium feature and a part of Business and above memberships.
