# How to setup fixed day events?

To setup Events as service, please follow the instructions below:

1. Log-in to your administrator area.

2. Add an event as a service (_from_ SETTINGS-->SERVICES). If you want to accept bookings from multiple people then set the desired capacity. (Click here to learn more about **[Group Bookings](http://help.appointy.com/entries/21317648-what-is-group-booking))**

3. Add staff who would be be the key person for this Event. If no staff, add a dummy staff with the same name as service. (_from_ SETTINGS-->STAFF)

4. Link this event to staff to generate business hours. (_from_ SETTINGS-->**BUSINESS HOURS**). Open schedule on **[specific dates](http://help.appointy.com/entries/23534962?challenge=fasgefb1tiygqwk)** using Additional Work Schedule

  
(Note: Allowing a date will override all other block settings.)
